Music Theater Masterclass

Our MW Musical Theatre Masterclass is a select group class of MW’s most advanced musical theatre performers.

This group class, led by local celebrity and music theater guru Dave Snyder, will teach vocal and performance technique, how to give and receive constructive criticism in a teacher moderated environment, and offer an opportunity to present material to a group in a non-performance setting. Songs will be selected by the instructor with the intention of challenging each participant's abilities and working outside their comfort zone. Additional songs will be offered according to student work.

Students should not be expected to perform material every class as they should expect 20-30 min work sessions per class performance, leading to 3-4 students presenting work each class while other students in attendance offer feedback and learn by observation.

Students should expect to walk away from the class with at least 2 polished songs that they can use for auditions or personal performances.
